We fortunate to live and work in an area of outstanding natural beauty, with the Marlborough Sounds quite literally on our doorstep, and we aim to do everything we can to preserve it for future generations. Operating our business in an environmentally sustainable way is something Dean and I are really passionate about, so we  are stoked to be recognised for it.

Simply pick up a card from the front desk on check in and deliver it back to reception by 8.00 pm to order yours.

Pool Update

Not far now……..  We have started planting, painting and landscaping.

photo (23)We’re eleven weeks in to our brand new pool build, the pool will definitely be open for labour weekend. Let’s wish for a great weekend, not that it matters because the pool will be warm come rain or shine!

Just working on the walkways and fences, and next week the plants arrive, I’ll post you an update then!

Mussel Festival 2013

MusselsWe’re so looking forward to being able to show all our motel accommodation guests a fantastic Havelock welcome for the Mussel Festival on 16th March!

There’s great entertainment, cooking demonstrations and family fun. Of course if you’d like to escape the frenzy of the festival for a few minutes, there’s no better place for a waterfront lunch or dinner than the fabulous Slip Inn, try their Sample Mussel Platter – 7 mussels with different toppings including one natural to compare the tastes… we believe you won’t find better mussels in Havelock!
